Because for some of us, demons attack with every waking moment.
We distract ourselves with some things like Seti, and computers, and cats.

But, it never goes away, that voice in our head. It is relentless and without mercy.
It shall, and has, haunted some of us to our graves.

If you do not hear it, you are blessed. Once you hear it, it shall run you down until you die under it's oppression.
