I need to repurpose a computer currently running SETI. I'd like to wind down the current tasks but make it NOT grab any new ones. I'm surprised I wasn't able to find someone else in here wanting to do the same. How do I do this?

Open BOINC Manager -> (View -> Advanced view ->) Projects tab -> Select (hi-light) Seti@Home -> click "No new tasks". The button will change to "Allow new tasks" as this button shows the option you have, not the state it is in.

Run down your cache, report everything.
Once you're done with the changes, click "Allow new tasks" to get new work. If at least you didn't reformat and started anew.
