Good Day, I have noticed I didn't receive any work for my AMD GPUs for a few days now. Did I miss something? Thank you |

On one host you have 545 invalids now. Maybe your daily quota is down to zero. Check temps and or dust bunnies. With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |

Last message is easy to answer - you've tried to get work too soon after the last request, there is a 5 minute timeout before you can request more work. Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

There's your problem. You probably had a large amount of invalids so it restricted you to 1 a day, as you returned more valid work units, it increased your allotment of work units. Going to take some time before you are given full work load. Can't remember how to get around this |

Well spotted Zalster - I missed that when I saw the "too soon" message. Short of returning more valid tasks, which as you say, will take time I can't think how else to get back to a full tank. Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

This reply isn't going to help you very much in the short term, but it will help others to see which of your computers is giving troubles: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/show_host_detail.php?hostid=7950668 (If you were running an nVidia GPU I would suggest checking that you had nVidia supplied drivers installed (not those from MS as part of one one of their "updates"), but it is an AMD processor, so I could be pointing in totally the wrong direction.) If the GPUs are bad that would be very bad news. Anything else I can try or check. |

Update your Lunatics version. I already got the latest version. |

Updating the application is unlikely to have any effect, however making sure you have drivers supplied by the chip-set OEM is more likely to be productive. I was (and am still) hoping one of the AMD gurus would come past and suggest an appropriate driver version or set for you. I dont understand how this used to work for over a month with no issues! |

MS secret updates :-( They happen, we know nothing, something stops working :-( :-( (I had it the other day on one of my crunchers, fortunately I'd suspended cruching for a totally different reason so it had no impact, but it was still a pain having to download the drivers again.) Finally getting work now. Maybe my fault I made it run two tasks per gpu. Switched back to just one. post a picture[/img] |
