I get this message in the Notice tab in my BOINC Manager: SETI@home: Notice from server however I'm still getting GPU tasks, for which I'm happy about. the reason I'm hesitant in upgrading my nVidia drivers is that with the newer drivers nVidia removed Cuda support for my GPU (Geforce 9600GT 512MB, OpenCL 1.1 capable) my current driver and cuda SDK are working fine... so should I ignore the message or will support for my GPU in the near future be dropped? If so any indications as to when? -- as life grows older, I gain experience. |

I should mention I'm running Gentoo Linux with the latest nVidia drivers which has Cuda support version 331.113 the very next version removes CUDA support for this GPU series (version +340.x) -- as life grows older, I gain experience. |

I get this message in the Notice tab in my BOINC Manager: That is BOINC telling you that your drivers are not new enough to run the Open CL apps on your GPU. You can ignore it if you continue to get CUDA work. |
