Hey everyone. Have 4 machines running F23 to do crunching. I have read through all the documentation getting Intel based GPU working on F23 but it is a little beyond my expertise. Is their anyone that is willing to give me a hand getting it working. It seems to be a waste to have the GPU sitting their and not doing any work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Even if you were able to get the Intel GPU to work -which isn't easy, because as far as I know Intel themselves don't offer OpenCL enabled drivers for Intel GPUs for Linux, so you'd have to work with third party stuff like Beignet- it doesn't matter for this project because there are no stock GPU applications for Intel: https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/apps.php At the moment only AMD/ATI GPUs are supported. But that could be overcome by building your own applications. And normally, any OpenCL application should be able to work on any device capable of using OpenCL, so conversion between platforms shouldn't be much trouble. The problem is to get the GPU to be recognized and to have it run correct science. |
