Something the powers that be may wish to bear in mind would be a shame if Bearkley Uni or this project being considered on the fringe of science or other projects suffered a simular lack of confidence as has happened to Princeton University http://philanthropynewsdigest.org/off-the-shelf/abusing-donor-intent-the-robertson-family-s-epic-lawsuit-against-princeton-university |

Not sure I follow what you're on about? Your comments seem somewhat threatening toward SETI@home, unless I'm misreading them. Has SETI done something unethical in your eyes? And are you threatening legal action in the same way Princeton had a lawsuit? |

And are you threatening legal action in the same way Princeton had a lawsuit? There are several types of donations to not-for-profits. The most common is the gift or do anything you want with it. The next most common is the restricted for a purpose gift. That would be like a gift to the Regents for SETI. There there are further restrictions, such as to purchase a disk drive for SETI. Of course restrictions can be temporary or permanent. https://nonprofitsassistancefund.docalytics.com/v/managing-restricted-funds-2014 |
