Islamic State group makes official claim of responsibility. The branded statement, issued via IS's official social media accounts, warned of worse to come for "Crusader states allied against the Islamic State". The targets had been "carefully selected", suggesting the attacks might have been centrally directed. Many of the EU officials are not really surprised over the attacks. The airport is like a second home for them and some of them use the metro. A Swedish woman working for the European Commission was seriously injured. She was in the subway when a suicide bomber struck at the station Maelbeek |

Wiggo where in western Sydney . Parramatta or Penrith , is not the same as Cabramatta , Liverpool or Bankstown I don't blame Islam but I do blame what the Imam's teach about it . Bankstown , Cabramatta and that as you know have high levels of unemployment and as much as we say we are not Racist's here in ozz I do believe there are enough of them to cause Muslims to feel ostracized and that plus not having a job is where you start getting the radical groups forming or criminal gangs who use Islam to recruit Bankstown is a good example so was Cabramatta till J.Newman was shoot , the local member of parliament Australia's first political assassination |

Now we will start to see the collapse off Europe ......who's going to get the blame other than Isis .....the refugees will feel the backlash and that will lead to more bombings , the cycle is starting :( |

Wiggo where in western Sydney . Actually halfway between Parramatta and Blacktown Glenn, and it was no different to Cabramatta , Liverpool, Bankstown or any other similar suburb so I have no idea where you are coming from. Even as a kid we had people living there from around 30 countries (mainly christian) and when I left (in my 40's) that had increased to to around 120 (with every religion available). Also Muslims will only feel ostracized if they're treated so (just the same as any other non christian religion use to be back in the bad old days of the McKenzie era). I treat everyone equally (until they prove themselves otherwise), but are you 1 of those who don't? BTW, Newman was shot because he stood in the way of organised crime syndicates and 1 of them with political aspirations did the job and paid for it. So Glenn, stop shooting from the lip and start doing a bit of homework before committing yourself to an indefensible position (which you have now done in many posts here now). ;-) Cheers. |

Follower of the Islamic Faith in Europe is very uncommon. Regardless where they are coming from. Yes there are mosques built in Europe but it's very few who attend them. @glenn Europe will not collapse:) |

Yes there are mosques built in Europe but it's very few who attend them.Cite please. I can't cite information about peoples personal beliefs. It's illegal here in Europe to do that. Your links to CIA are useless. In Stockholm there are three mosques AFIK. I have yet to see many people go to them, especially on friday afternoons. Although there are no official statistics of Muslims in Sweden, estimates count 200,000—250,000 people of Muslim background in 2000[5] (i.e. anyone who fits the broad definition of someone who "belongs to a Muslim people by birth, has Muslim origin, has a name that belongs in the Muslim tradition, etc. "[8]), roughly estimated close to 100,000 of which are second-generation. That's about 10% with a islamitic belief. But most of them don't have access to a mosque. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam_in_Sweden |

Your links to CIA are useless. I meant that the CIA information is useless. It's about one year old. One would thought that CIA should have up to date info. For instance Sweden has been without a US ambassador since Mark Brzezinski ended his four-year stint in Stockholm in July 2015. http://www.thelocal.se/20151220/delay-over-us-envoy-to-sweden-drags-on Azita Raji is however the new US ambassador here since last month. http://www.thelocal.se/20160213/azita-raji-confirmed-us-envoy-to-sweden |

Your links to CIA are useless. The website is just their printed book online. Not sure how often they revise it, or how long from revision to website. (But if you lift the tinfoil I'm sure they can beam you the answer.) |

The website is just their printed book online. No. The CIA website is updated daily. Sort of. Apart from Updated Chiefs of State and Cabinet Members of Foreign Governments this month it's only history. https://www.cia.gov/news-information The CIA equivalent here is called SÄPO. A bit different website where this month news is about Brussels and terrorism. https://translate.google.se/translate?sl=sv&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=sv&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sakerhetspolisen.se%2Fovrigt%2Fpressrum%2Faktuellt.html&edit-text= No wonder why the US have so many conspiracy theories. |

Wiggo I lived in Cabramatta and remember hearing the shoots that night as I lived not far from the Meakon club so I know why and who and where . My point about Bankstown and Cabramatta is when you have high consentrations of one group in a area and high unemployment then you get the radicalisation as in Bankstown and crime in Cabramatta so it's not Islam that's the problem in western country's it's the ostracized that turn to Jihad or selling drugs as we are going to see with all the refugees in Europe , give it some time but the ones that don't have a job or feel they have no future , than watch the terrorist attacks increase . Israel does not help , that is a big part of the problem in the middle east By the way do you own a copy of the Koran I do , just saying |

Brussels attacks: Nuclear alert after security officer found dead with his pass missing. A security officer at a Belgian nuclear plant has been found dead with his work pass stolen. This disturbing development, revealed by the newspaper Derniere Heure on Saturday, follows concerns that the Brussels bombers wanted to build a radioactive dirty bomb — but apparently shelved the plan after security was stepped up at Belgium’s nuclear plants following intelligence warnings. The security officer was murdered on Thursday evening as he walked his dog in the city of Charleroi, but news of the killing only emerged on Saturday. His pass was quickly cancelled, according to officials.http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/belgium/12204863/Brussels-terror-attacks-nuclear-isil-suspects-victims-latest.html http://www.dhnet.be/actu/faits/un-agent-de-securite-dans-le-nucleaire-tue-a-charleroi-son-badge-d-acces-a-ete-vole-56f5b02a35702a22d5bbf868 |

When, not if, these Savages 'release' a WMD in The West. In this Belgium case it seems that it was not so bad after all. Prosecutors have denied the murder of a security official at the Fleurus nuclear research centre was a terrorist act, the Belga news agency reported. Should we worry? Hopefully not. http://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2016-03-24/how-real-is-the-dirty-bomb-threat |

When, not if, these Savages 'release' a WMD in The West. Reading NATO's review from last year about CBRN or WMD is not really uplifting. http://www.nato.int/docu/Review/2015/ISIL/ISIL-Nuclear-Chemical-Threat-Iraq-Syria/EN/index.htm NATO's conclusion. As terrorism is again coming closer to Europe, more attention needs to be paid to the developments on NATO’s southern borders to the possible use of CBRN material in terrorist attacks not just in the region but also in Western societies. NATO and its Allies need to step up their preparedness and be ready to act jointly, including by ensuring that necessary military and civil prevention and response capabilities remain adequately funded - even in periods of defence and public spending being under stress in many Allied countries. |
