I presume that the FRB was recorded and examined for any type of purposive message. If not, why not; sinice it would be of no interest to SETI if so. |

Saw this news today and came rushing here to check what implications this has for SETI. Interesting that the sources of these FRBs can't even be pinpointed to a specific galaxy.
