Just saw the movie "Deadpool".
It is not for younger children. Older teens and up are the target audience. The character Deadpool is rude and not politically correct. The use of induendo and hand gestures is heavily used as comedy relief. And not to feel left out. The Deadpool character frequently looks at the camera and talks or narrates to the viewing audience. I will stop there.
There was between 1 or 2 hundred of us watching and laughing all the way through the movie. And credits. The beginning was not socially or p.c. And after the credits is another scene. Almost everybody stayed to the dead end of everything.

You are talking about a new movie, and not the older Clint Eastwood bit?

My good friend is a huge fan of Deadpool. I'll probably end up seeing it this weekend. I know next to nothing about the character.

Looks like a cross between Spiderman and Batman.. I'll have to go see that soon enough, after Kung Fu Panda 3.

I knew next to nothing also. Just watching the movie gave me all I needed to know about him and his motivations.

He has healing powers like Wolverine. Except he can regenerate lost body parts.

And at least on TV He's not too stable mentally, type of guy you don't want to turn your back on.

Thought I wouldn't do it. But I did. I went to see Deadpool again. This time I watched it in IMAX. I did not know there was a fitness test involved to see the movie. I went early to get my ticket. Parked at the IMAX side of the theater. Walked up to the doors and found out the tickets were sold on the regular side of the theater. So I walked a block to get a ticket ($13). Then walk back. Now in the IMAX viewing room I had to figure out what was the center of the screen. Luckily there was a theater logo shining on the middle of the curtain in front of the screen to help. If you can walk up a flight and a half of steps and not pass out. You can watch your movie.
Using the restroom was a experience that tested my memory. There was no outside doors so you have to walk around a couple of turns so no one can see anything from the outside. Now there are three separate rooms to use once inside. Your stand up business. Sit down take some time doing business and finally a room to wash your hands. I know I got in there. It took a few to jog the memory of "How to get out of here." And they say, "Don't get lost in there."
