GPU missing. Plus other symptoms.

However, the driver has been updated today by NVIDIA and BOINC is telling me that the GPU is missing, so crunching of GPU units has ceased. Another possible symptom is that Firefox will not now load: fine if I download it fresh each time but as soon as I close it, it will again not load. I am utterly clueless as to how to proceed. Any help in simple words that an idiot can understand would ne most gratefully received. ID: 1759831 ·
