With three days to go until the two-hour premiere of The X-Files (and because the old thread got locked), I figured I'd start a new thread to commemorate the event. It's been eight years since the last movie, and fourteen years since the last television episode. I'm pretty excited, and have been staying away from the spoilers. AND I've re-watched all nine seasons and two movies in anticipation. Anyone else ready for some new X-Files? :)

I've been watching ALL the commercials, (there are more than just one), and have seen the repeat of the preview from December that re-aired last week, and will re-air again 2-Ish on U-Verse on Fox (Local), Pacific Time...

Can't wait for the new mini-series!!! :-)

Just wondering i can`t watch it earlier on pay TV.
I have Fox channel for example.

Yeppers, it's a two-night premiere event, so there is another new episode tonight at 8pm on Fox.

In reference to last night's episode, the stupid football post game show ran about a half hour into the X-Files start time, but Fox did broadcast the entire episode from the beginning when the football crap was done.

If you had your DVR setup than you missed the last half hour of that episode due to the late start time. It should be On Demand here in a day or two, but it doesn't look like they are showing re-runs of season 10 on normal TV (at least, it's not listed when I do a search).

Well no spoilers from me, but so far, unless Episode 2 improves, I feel there is something missing compared to the original series...

..Mulder & Scully's zippiness, if that's the right word to use, I know something is missing & I have all 9 seasons on DVD.
