I seen a cool trick yesterday by one of my kin folks to keep squirrels out of the bird feeders. of course the feeder on top and just below it they slide on a slinky over and the squirrels couldn't get up there. it only made it about as high as it could jump is all. I don't think that would work very good on raccoons though (too heavy) |

Well from what I seen you have the feeder on a post and you slide the slinky over the post. the slinky does hang a little high so if the squirrel grabs it then it just lowers it back down to the ground. He can't grab the pole itself.. Well I know a squirrel some way will figure it out, they always do. LOL |

I guess I should start a new thread. I like starting new Critter Cafes with a picture and it may take me some time to find one. I'm going to have a crazy work week and we have house guests arriving on Thursday. It may take me a couple of weeks to find a good picture and start a new thread. |
