It finally downloaded the v8.03 i686 app and three tasks a few minutes ago and seems happy enough with them so far.

My first two tasks with the PPC app have been successfully completed and reported, but are still awaiting validation. The wing app for the first one is v8.02, so it may be a month or two before anything more is known about how it went….
