I'm getting an error message from BOINC Manager saying: "You app_info.xml file doesn't have a usable version of SETI@Home v8." The main download page still has version 7.2.42 for my Linux Mint. (PLEASE keep in mind that I'm not computer literate at all, so I *beg* you to please keep the technobabble to a minimum. My techie friends never have Windows discs handy, so they first gave me Ubuntu, then Linux Mint, which has complicated my life immensely.) Please keep in mind that I am not computer literate. Please make all answers the best layman's terms you have. |
