Any objective examination (in my opinion) of Catholic theology would reveal the fact that Catholic dogma is based upon myth and folklore to put the best face on it and at the other extreme, outright lies and forgery. While I choose Catholicism as my main target, since it is the most long lasting and successful scam in history, the same applies to all religions. Dave Nelson |

I choose Catholicism as my main target He is said he thinks all religions are corrupt but just choosing the Catholics as his example. He's not the first, remember Luther and Hendry. He is in good company. |

no he did not We have nothing to fear but fear itself. Apart from pain. And maybe humiliation. And obviously death. And failure. But apart from fear, pain and humiliation, failure and the unknown and death - we have nothing to fear. Who’s with me? |

Carlos types have been around since Adam and Eve. Intolerance in general can lead to fanatical behavior, but as far as the quote, Dave(The Admiral)Nelson is who said it. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

Everybody has different ways of communicating online. Some ways convey more overt information and some ways convey more covert information. |

no he did not In that case don't you owe both Carlos and 297902 an apology? Most attacker's against silly, stupid, and absurd Religious Theology. Are usually believer's in silly, stupid and absurd Secular Theology. AKA: Ideology. How do you know Dave Nelson believes in a "silly, stupid, absurd" ideology, and thus falls into the type you describe? I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ... |

You have to realise that he is retired with nothing better to do with his time. Being an ex soldier and NYPD policeman, he thinks everything can be solved with guns and force. Given his life experiences, is it surprising? Actually I would expect that with his experience he should realise that guns in a civilian environment very rarely solve anything and he should be against them being available in all populated places, except for some law enforcement personnel who have been vetted and thoroughly trained in there use and more importantly, where and when to use them. |

Certainly not people, most of them haven't been sufficiently trained to use them, and when they have received minimum safety instructions never practice with them. They don't control them very well and allow others access to them. Tell me, in all honesty, how many Americans that legally own guns, could hit a barn door at 10 paces when put under stress? 1%, 5%, 10%, anything over this is surely fantasy. |

Everybody has different ways of communicating online. Quite so Gordon, but should there not be a minimum level of allowable quality in those exchanges? That's in the eye of the beholder. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

Since Dave(The Admiral)Nelson hasn't weighed in on this thread since it's inception, let's just try not to veer off. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |
