That's definitely over the top that tree.

That's why I picked it, I thought of you hanging there, upside down, all alone Monday, so I found a tree to match.

As much as I want to agree with that sentiment,
I believe that as long as there is evil and madness in the world,
that goal is not achievable.

So long most humans are selfish nothing will change.

We have already more than a million syrians here and no one of our so called friends are willing to help.

Very sad world.

Nearly half of all asylum requests in 2014 were presented in Germany and Sweden.
So much for the European "Union" helping out:(
I wonder how this xmas will be for all the refugees leaving their home countries...

A slight revision here, looks like I'm going for a pair of new door locks in December, I hope, one of the old ones is busted, the key just spins now.

Bernie was right to urge caution though.

It depends on the eye of the beholder.
I`m wondering if peace for example has nothing to do with politics.
Almost everything can be seen political if you want to.

I was just thinking about german wishes for Christmas.
Probably i`m a Little naive.

What I would like to see under my tree is a little unexpected personal present that somebody chose just for me.

Those are the best gifts. :~)

Anyone remember Murphy Brown? One Christmas episode had her trying to figure out what to give everyone and then it turned poignant at the end when Eldon gave everyone cards reading (more or less) "A donation to charity has been made in your name. Best wishes of the holiday season."

Painter. He spent the whole series painting her house. He finally announced he was finished, and she said she was pregnant, so he had to do a nursery for her. He finally left the show in the last season or so to star in his own series, which didn't make it beyond the first six episodes, IIRC.

One great inside joke from Murphy: Francois Truffaut made a guest appearance (I don't remember if he was himself or a character). At one point, he had an argument with Murphy. After she walked off in a huff, he said "I pity the man who sleeps with her." Francois was married to the star, Candace Bergen.
