Richard, when i use the installer does it change the plan class ? No, it doesn't change anything. It compiles an app_info.xml file which contains a reference to every plan_class / version number pairing (you need both) known to me at the time of release (23 July 2015 for v0.43b). I compare with the release dates and versions listed on the applications page: the newest release for Windows is the intel_gpu app on 14 Jul 2015, so we're still clean. (the Linux / OS X releases on 18 Sep 2015 won't affect a Windows installer, unless you're doing something terribly tricksy with a dual-boot machine with a shared task pool: in which case you're on your own). The most likely risk of task loss would be any tasks allocated to a beta app added manually to an anonymous platform installation with a non-standard number/class pair. |

Thanks Richard. It works. Running with Boinc Manager 6.10 as well. With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |
