Thank you, Vic. The Last Person To Post Wins Thread, general rules: 1. Winner of the last thread starts the new one with a post of these rules. 2. Chooses a future event which triggers the winner, e.g. post number, date-time, and records it privately somehow (yellow sticky, etc.) 3. Everyone has fun posting until the target event is reached. 4. When the target is reached, old winner posts declaration of new winner and also PMs them. 5. Shortly after this a Mod will lock the recently won thread. 6. No double posts. Violator buys a round for the house in Rocky's Pub. This will be a straight-forward Post Number, between 500 and 1000. Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

Congratulations Donald. Hint: #1 Jets rule and Props drool... The post Donald made summed it up pretty well Angela. Donald L. Johnson wrote: Winning while doing laundry. @ Donald: Congrats Donald. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

I thought the last thread was going for a post number, so I wasn't paying real close attention to the clues. I also thought that the "guess the number" was a side game, but apparently, the goal was either to reach the number, or to guess the number, whichever came first. An interesting variation allowed by the rules. Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

Good question. What was the number for Vic. Not sure how to "Schwalbe" it. You get a gold star Admiral, that's the German word for "Swallow", the 4 digit number was 1048. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Congratulations again, Donald!!! |

Good question. What was the number for Vic. Not sure how to "Schwalbe" it. Willy Messerschmidt never said which one, most likely European, He was a workaholic I read, Messerschmidt was His company, He served 2 years in prison for collaborating with the Nazi Regime and for using slave labor.
