Yesterday I had 3 APs timeout on my W7 machine. The machine always runs 24/7 and shows no sign of slowing down. I have never had a wu timeout before. I thought BOINC was supposed to never assign work that could not be finished by the deadline.

Well looking at that machine's performance, you should be running no more than a 4 day cache. That will get you though anything but a drastic outage.

You had those tasks for 28 days and didn't complete them.

Perhaps they were ghosts which never actually got to your host.

Brent I don't think that had anything to do with it, regardless of how fast a machine is a 4 day cache gets run thru in 4 days, a 10 day cache gets run thru in 10 days and a 20 day cache if you could get one would get run thru in 20 days.
