Have you set the pref on the web site to send you Intel GPU units ? No AP's at the moment so you won't get them . |

Posted over at the Einstien forums as I am having the same issue there and they said it was because my driver was to new, trying a older one now. |

Posted over at the Einstien forums as I am having the same issue there and they said it was because my driver was to new, trying a older one now. As far as I know SETI@home only checks to make sure the iGPU has an OpenCL 1.2 capable driver & your machine is displaying INTEL Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 (1400MB) OpenCL: 1.2. If the latest driver is actually any good is a different question. Often new GPU drivers can cause the GPU apps to not work correctly. So it it better to have a "known good" driver rather than the latest. As far as not getting work. You can look in the event log to see what kind of response you are getting from the server when you request work. However at the moment it has been over 12 hours since that machine has contacted the servers to request any work. There were some recent network and server maintenance issues. So you may need to flush the DNS cache on that system for it to correctly find the server. Ok Einstien is working on the old driver but nothing downloaded on Seti yet. Will try flushing the DNS cache :) Is there a list anywhere of known good drivers so I can make sure I always have the latest good one installed? |

Ok just clicked properties on the project within Boinc and it says "this project has no work for Intel GPU" Could have sworn I have crunched Seti on it before? |

Ill give the Lunatics installer a go actually and see if that helps :) |

There is a shortage of tasks suitable for processing on GPUs.... Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Oh right, had a look through the forums but couldn't find anything official looking, can you link me to the announcement? |

There hasn't been any anouncment. The types of task available is driven by the data on the tapes loaded, and that tends to be fairly random in its nature - a single tape can have some tasks that are deemed unsuitable for GPUs to process, and have other tasks that GPUs will work through very rapidly. Ok thats a shame, my R9 Fury seems to be getting work fine which made me think it might be some other issue on the other box. |

Ok thats a shame, my R9 Fury seems to be getting work fine which made me think it might be some other issue on the other box. Your 5930K machine also seems to be requesting work much more often. While your 4590T looks to be asking about once a day. SETI@home classic workunits: 93,865 CPU time: 863,447 hours Join the [url=http://tinyurl.com/8y46zvu]BP6/VP6 User Group[ |

intel hd graphics does not show on my 4790. enabled in bios and dled and installed open cl 1.2. what did I miss? So Windows didn't detect any new hardware when you enabled it? If it did which driver release did you try? If the iGPU doesn't come it could be the MB. Some of them disable the iGPU when a PCI-e GPU is present.
