http://definitions.uslegal.com/b/breach-of-fiduciary-duty/ You are correct. It leads to perversion. While it may work on a small scale, say a lemonade stand, it fails miserably at large scale. It allows, er requires, persons (corporations) to act against the best interests of the country that granted the corporation in the first place. It requires them to offshore their profits and hide them from the tax man. It requires them to cheat on environmental and other laws. The list is endless. In any case, what this shows is that it may not be what most of us in the US want rewarded, but that somebody wants it rewarded and so has made it something that is indeed rewarded. Pure unadulterated greed by law. The law (collective) is amoral, and having a legal duty first; that is amoral. The fix would be simple, but it will never happen. Simply make a couple of other duties have higher priority than the fiduciary duty! Things that every citizen (natural person) is required to observe. Problem solved. |

Well then Gary it is nice to know you don't actually agree with it or at lest understand it's a load of bull dust . However i do believe you could get it changed but that would involve you all NOT voting for the uber rich candidates that stand for public office like the Donald |

However i do believe you could get it changed but that would involve you all NOT voting for the uber rich candidates that stand for public office 501(c)(4). Then after you understand, reconsider your statement. |

Well then Gary it is nice to know you don't actually agree with it or at lest understand it's a load of bull dust . Uh No. Why do you suppose the Supreme court ruled A corporation is a person? It comes down to greed rules in the US. How would all of our leaders survive if they didnt get that big payoff in the brown paper bag? [/quote] Old James |

No you are wrong. So you are saying that a poor person in the Netherlands would also be a poor person in South Africa? Right.... |

Yes. Its safe to say that someone in the Netherlands is 'poor' if they earn less than 11.000 euros a year. Pretty sure that someone who makes 10.000 euros a year still earns quite a bit more money than someone in South Africa who is poor. |

If the restaurant can't afford to pay the cook it will fail and if it pays enough to hire the cook it will fail. That sounds like the restaurant will fail. |

Once upon a time you would buy a resturant and you and your wife would cook , clean and wait on people , if you where smart you would have a family member working for you also . The costs where keep'd down the food was good and atmosphere was good and it wasn't to expensive He'll if the service was good you would tip them . 21st Century corporation's run's restaurant chains . Whine about paying fare wages or penalty rates for back shifts or weekends , charge a rm and leg and run there staff off there feet . or mum and dad owners hire people to run there restaurant and wonder why it fails usually it's not the pay rates it's the fact it's a crap place to go food wise or price wise But greedy employers don't wish to work for there money and get greedy |
