I have (over the years) gotten some data/accounts separated.

How can I consolidate these into one, my current acct/group?

Would like all three into my one which is at
Team Ninja - The Next Generation

Thanks for any help![/url]

BOINC accounts cannot be merged. You must pick one and go with it while leaving the others dormant.

Yes, even though they have the same user name.
User names can be changed, but they do have different user id numbers.
The reason behind not being allowed to combine identities is that some years ago a number of rather unscrupulous people hijacked accounts not belonging to them by merging other folks accounts with their own...

News to me. As far as I know, both under Seti Classic and under Seti/BOINC accounts could never be merged, although the admins have manually merged a handful in the beginning.

I think what you're confused with is the credit situation. Under Seti Classic, all credit gathered by you for a team would move with you when you switched teams. That way people with large amounts of points could virtually hold teams hostage, threatening to walk out if the team didn't do what the big gatherer said they should do.

So with BOINC that's changed that any credit you earn for a team stays with the team when you move away, starting from zero for the new team you go to. All credit always stays with the user's account.
