Nothing feels quite as good as picking up a new car. A new motorbike is even better though. ;-) Cheers. |

The only new car I've ever got was a Mazda 121 Metro about 14 years ago. I've owned 1 new car, dang thing had a problem with the Master Power Relay, when the temps in the winter got down to or below freezing, that relay ate the battery, the local dealer would only charge up the battery(the dealer was sold to someone else later on) and send Me home in My 2006 Mustang GT, people were popping the trunk and setting off the built in car alarm at least twice, to see if there was something stealable inside, of course there wasn't, I'm no fool. This problem affects all 2005-2006 Mustangs, in 2007 this was fixed by Ford, you'd think this could also have been fixed, I should have bought the 2007, oh well. Turns out the Dealer wanted to buy the car back from Me, only they weren't brave enough to ask, this came from one of the salesmen there. I have never owned a new car. I never shall. My current rides I have title to are.. A 1972 Buick Skylark GS. A 1985 Mazda rotary GSLSE. And my daily driver, a 1990 Olds Cutlass Ciera, whom I have named Toothless, after the dragon in the how to tame yours series. I love that car a lot. Tuesday, I have a date with my mechanic to replace all of the rubber hoses and the heater core. All NOS parts I managed to find on ebay after searching for months on end. I have a back seat FULL of spare parts... Yup, I love my car. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |
