It was only one day that we saw the sun.
Worst summer in 100 years they said.

It's day 5 winter in Oz. I've got my heater going and dreading the gas bill.

Anyway. We didn't mind.
Brighton doesn't have a sandbeach only lot of small stones.
We didn't see anyone swimming even that sunny day.
But they had a beach party on midsummer day that we joined:)

Thunderstorms, here when this part of CA gets those, it's called the 'monsoon season', sometimes the area will even get hail, the size of a pea, some areas get hail the up to the size of a soccer ball, at least according to the weather channel, full coverage auto insurance is those areas I'd think would be a must.. Even if you own your car without any loan or lien on the cars title.

Here in Central NY State we get some awesome thunderstorms from spring right untill late fall. lake Ontario loves to spawn them.

Hmmn, was that the month that they turned a part of the beach into the first legal nudist beach? If so, no wonder the weather was miserable :-)
