I just noticed that one of my computers seems to have cloned itself on my account. There aren't any tasks associated with it, but it's a duplicate computer, with a new ID. Why would that have happened? The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

I does happen randomly at times, did you do a hardware change? No, nothing changed on my end. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

I does happen randomly at times, did you do a hardware change? Just an interrupted communication with the servers can cause that Gordon. Cheers. |

You should be able to Merge Computers, so they will be one again. |

I guess it won't go away by itself, then? The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

If it's the same computer, they should merge into one, if you request it. |

If you merge PCs, then the newest ID will be used. In your case, I would delete just the new PC ID. http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/show_host_detail.php?hostid=7583126 On the bottom of this page you can press 'Delete this computer' (just you see this Link if you are logged in). |

If you merge PCs, then the newest ID will be used. That worked! Thanks for the info. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |
