Hi all I just returned to seti after crunching else where but have a strange problem. I've been crunching away for over half hour & decided to have a look at my tasks to seen if any had validated ect but looking at the SETI website it says I have no tasks even though I've finished half a dozen it also says I have no tasks in progress which I do. These are some of the WU's i've crunched I got there names from boinctasks history tab. You can see by the output they have been crunched but click on the workunit it says they have not been sent yet. Whats going on? 27au12aa.7837.1294.438086664199.12.106_1 24my12aa.9308.4157.438086664197.12.249_2 24jl12aj.12778.1703.438086664204.12.222_1 There are many more. I did a project reset but the new tasks I recieved are not showing either. I'm stumped |

once those tasks complete and validate against their wingmen, the workunit and task details get purged from the Boinc database 24 hours after validation. Edit: Looks as if the Replica database is offline again: Replica seconds behind master Offline The list of tasks is served by the Replica Boinc database. Claggy |

These are some of the WU's i've crunched I got there names from boinctasks history tab. You can see by the output they have been crunched but click on the workunit it says they have not been sent yet. Whats going on? If you put those Wu names in the search box, they do exist: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/result.php?result_name=27au12aa.7837.1294.438086664199.12.106_1 http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/result.php?result_name=24my12aa.9308.4157.438086664197.12.249_2 http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/result.php?result_name=24jl12aj.12778.1703.438086664204.12.222_1 The result details are served by the Master Boinc database. I only just started back here maybe a little over an hour ago & received new WU's then. I had none from before. This one for example.. http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=1796445926 There are three lines mine is the one with no details. task # 4164839399 It shows as unsent(ghost) But if you click that task you can see it's been crunched and was crunched today only a short time ago. The task was only created on today. |

As I said, the Replica Boinc database is offline again, it's not updating: Server status page Claggy |

Thanks for your help Claggy. So does that mean they will eventually show up in my task list & be credited? |

Thanks for your help Claggy. So does that mean they will eventually show up in my task list & be credited? You can look at the task links and see some of them have credit already, whether they are still in your task list when the Replica database catches up is unlikely, as a lot of them will have validated, and then been purged 24 hours later. Not entirely related to this thread but didn't want to start a new thread for this question ... Recently had a 'disturbance' on one of my PC's (http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=7567092) and it errored out all WU's in the queue. Not sure why that occurred though the disturbance created an anomaly in the app_info.xml file. I replaced the file, reset the count parameters and restarted. On 'Update requested by user', I get 'Not requesting tasks; don't need CPU, Nvidia GPU'. That has been going on for now over 24 hours ... no SETI WU's are being allocated to this PC. I have engaged Einstein on the PC just to prevent wasting compute power but would like to get SETI re-engaged. Any suggestions? |

Not entirely related to this thread but didn't want to start a new thread for this question ... You probably want to rerun the Lunatics Installer and then check that there are apps specified in the app_info, maybe a Boinc repair installation will be needed too, or a Boinc uninstall and reinstall.
