Hi,
does anybody know, when changes to mbcuda.cfg take effect?(lunatics ver 0.43a)
1)when boinc is restarted(leaving apps in memory)
2)when re-reading the config file
3)when a new task of that type is started
4)when re-reading the local preferences
5)something else

thanks for your help!

Rasputin42 can't answer you question exactly but if you have made changes manually to any file like appinf.xml or mbcuda.cfg then the rule of thumb is to just restart Bionic

If there are changes to seti done when you have installed Luna or updated Bionic the the changes take effect as soon as it starts doing work . Not exactly the answer you where after but hope it helps .

The mbcuda.cfg file is read by the CUDA app when it starts. So

3)when a new task of that type is started

applies. However, it would also be read if a CUDA task were restarted from checkpoint.
