Our FRA Brnch did a Mothers' Day breakfast today. Helped serve and clean up after. Then spent some time under the mulberry trees, where we spread both my parents' ashes 5 years ago. Will touch base with both my sisters a little later tonight.

Your daughter had a baby? Congratulations Blade!

Thanks, but he's not a baby now. He's two. He was born the day before my birthday!

Aw!!! Two year olds are pretty darn cute, in those few moments when they are not exerting their autonomy.

Or going on a nearly mindless rampage, but We all were like that at one time, so it's excusable.

I guess I'm strange, but I always love dealing
with children during the terrible twos....

(I am just thinking of two of my grand kids
who gave me a whole new appreciation for the
quickness, and fun of the minds of children,)

I actually prefer developmental two to developmental three. Two year olds are honest. What you see is what you get. Three year olds have learned that whining and glorious tantrums can be valuable bargaining chips.

I know it's past Mother's Day, but I wanted to post a picture of the yard, after our tree was planted...
