I'd like to ask for help from my friends in the Seti@Home project. First-thanks to the Mods and Fred for allowing this thread for the 3rd year in a row. I am deeply involved with the American Cancer Society and their Relay for Life. This event raises money that goes directly for local Cancer Research. In March, my brother's mother-in-law Elaine Sharp passed from metastatic cancer and I participate in memory of her. I also was informed of the passing on 4/21 of the life-long friend I participated in honor of last year, Chris Clemm. He was 46 years old. Last year I raised $3000+ personally. This year as of 4/28/2015 I've raised $1600 already and have a personal goal of $2500. If I reach my goal this year, I will have raised $10,000 personally in 4 years. That is HUGE!
