That log starts just after you requested work, and you are in the 5-minute interval between attempts: scheduler RPC backoff (297.64 sec) It would be more meaningful to see the reply you got five seconds earlier, when you did ask for work but none was issued (which would have been what caused the resource backoffs). If there are no tasks of the type(s) you have installed Lunatics for, and have set in your preferences then you will get no tasks - regardless of what application(s) you are running.
