my new phone and tablet allow boinc projects , but I am not getting any tasks ; any ideas ??

The Android apps do not currently support Lollipop (Android 5.x).

EDIT: The ETA on new apps to support Lollipop is TDB.

No, I was only referring to the SETI@home apps. I do not know the status of Android apps for other projects.
If you check the Applications page for a project. You can see if they have updated their app since the release of Lollipop,
