From the couple unit's I've run so far on the VIA Nano X2 1.6ghz board I have here the performance for CPU crunching is pretty good compared to a 2.1ghz Opteron 6272 .. but at a lot lower power and heat!! https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/show_host_detail.php?hostid=7543965 http://www.viaembedded.com/en/boards/mini-itx/epia-m910/ Only downside is trying to run a GPU out of the PCI-e x1 slot with one of those usb extenders doesn't work on the board. I guess VIA never expected anyone to toss an external video card in the systems.. |

Apparently some motherboard manufactures limit the types of hard that they allow to enumerate in PCIe x1 slots. I have asked ASrock a few times if the mPCIe x1 slot on my Q1900-ITX board, with use a of mPCIe to PCIe x16 slot adapter, would support a GPU but I have yet to get an answer.
