It's interesting to see the effect of Seti downtime beginning to influence other projects. Just noticed across the way at Einstein their servers must be beginning to get warmer.

Where is everyone else going for their backup project?

Well. I wondered over to lhc@home, but that has now run out of wu's <sigh>
So, at the moment, I'm back to running Einstein on the gpu, and climateprediction.net on the cpu.

If you choose PrimeGrid as one of your projects, you get new tasks almost all the time. Their downtime is slight, because the size of the individual tasks being returned is small.

However, their server capacity is much smaller than here and you may easily see your posted messages either go down the drain or become deleted for other reasons, including capacity.

This because they happen to have a large user mass and therefore a lot of tasks around at a given moment of time.

Not here today.
My bennies are not working for other projects right now.

I dunno, just not in the mood. Just maybe pissed off at life, I guess.
Seti be my binness.

Doing Einstein on GPU right now while finishing up the last few SETI WU. Surprisingly enough I just got 3 SETI WU early this morning out of the blue.
