Israel has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 37 times since making its debut in 1973.

I was in Brighton the year before. yes 1972.
Pink Floyd had a concert there when I was there and they played for the first time songs from the Dark Side of Moon.
And silly me went to a pub instead:)

Well why don't you rename this thread "Any excuse to post anything about anything just for the sake of it".

Then we would all know where we stand.

Um, i'm with Chris on this.

Mark the Kittyman has his own thread for his ramblings, so I suppose there is no reason why Janne shouldn't have his one also. They both have similar reasons to need one. Mark however tends to keep to his own thread.

Source please!

Bit difficult to do when your replying to practically every post in every thread with something that has barely anything to do with the subject being discussed.

Now I'm totally confused.
What have Myths and Realities with me and Mark to do?
And who is Mark?

The only reality I can see is that social media is dangerous zone.
Sometimes I get the feeling that forigners are not welcome here...

However I would say some of you Brits and Americians are very off topic in this thread.

This is a strange reality in the US.
The Diversity Immigrant Visa program is a United States congressionally mandated lottery program for receiving a United States Permanent Resident Card. It is also known as the Green Card Lottery. The lottery is administered on an annual basis by the Department of State and conducted under the terms of Section 203(c) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA). Section 131 of the Immigration Act of 1990 (Pub. L. 101-649) amended INA 203 to provide for a new class of immigrants known as "diversity immigrants" (DV immigrants). The Act makes available 55,000 permanent resident visas annually to natives of countries deemed to have low rates of immigration to the United States.

Myth: Africa is poor and africans are ignorant.
Reality:
Example. Only in Uganda there are 277 microbankers.

Ugandan women aren’t short of smart business ideas. They just lack the means to start them. We have given out over eight thousand business loans to women in rural Uganda, at 99.8% repayment! On this site you can donate a microcredit and track its progress.
https://www.microbanker.com/
https://www.facebook.com/microbanker

In the largest lipdub of Africa, 500 women dance to 'Price Tag' by Jessie J ft. B.o.B. Every single one of these strong and resourceful women has started a business of her own. Their dream is to show you and Jessie J how this has impacted their lives!

btw 2 billion more africans by year 2030:)
Financial Diaries of Smallholder Families

There are an estimated 450 milllion smallholder farming households in the world, representing more than 2 billion people living at 2 dollars a day!

The biggest final and party in history!
Welcome to the myths in Europe.
Eurovision Song Contest celebrates 60 years in the year and therefore has invited Australia to participate in the competition:)
