Hi, friends!

Some days ago I get this message on my BOINC client. "Notice from start BOINC tag lost in cc_config.xml", and really do not know what label it is because I read my configuration file and do not seem to miss anything there. Thank you very much!

Yours Faithfully,
Cris

Post the config file. Someone may spot the problem.

Hello, Aurora!

How quickly answered. ;-) The truth is that I know how this happens to me after so long. It may be my new motherboard, but the PC, it works great. Below I leave a fragment from my cc-config.xml file:

    <log_flags>
        <file_xfer>1</file_xfer>

        <cpu_sched_status>1</cpu_sched_status>
        <dcf_debug>1</dcf_debug>
        <disk_usage_debug>1</disk_usage_debug>
        <file_xfer_debug>1</file_xfer_debug>
        <gui_rpc_debug>1</gui_rpc_debug>
        <heartbeat_debug>1</heartbeat_debug>
        <http_debug>1</http_debug>
        <http_xfer_debug>1</http_xfer_debug>
        <mem_usage_debug>1</mem_usage_debug>

        <poll_debug>1</poll_debug>
        <priority_debug>1</priority_debug>
        <proxy_debug>1</proxy_debug>
        <rr_simulation>1</rr_simulation>
        <rrsim_detail>1</rrsim_detail>
        <sched_op_debug>1</sched_op_debug>
        <scrsave_debug>1</scrsave_debug>
        <slot_debug>1</slot_debug>
        <state_debug>1</state_debug>
        <statefile_debug>1</statefile_debug>
        <suspend_debug>1</suspend_debug>
        <task_debug>1</task_debug>
        <time_debug>1</time_debug>
        <trickle_debug>0</trickle_debug>
        <unparsed_xml>0</unparsed_xml>
        <work_fetch_debug>0</work_fetch_debug>
    </log_flags>

I will put the other sections of the file so that does not seem very long. Thank you very much again!

Regards,
Cris

Message 1655603 - Posted: 22 Mar 2015, 0:12:59 UTC - in response to Message 1655559.

cc_config.xml follows the following order:
<cc_config>
<log_flags>
...
</log_flags>
<options>
...
</options
</cc_config>

If you posted the contents of your cc_config.xml file as is, you're missing the <cc_config> and </cc_config> tags at the start and end of the file.

Hi Jord! ;-)

I think so! Friend of mine... is XML language; just like HTML tags should be placed to indicate what comes next and when to just that block. Thank you very much indeed, I've realized that the only tags that were missing from my file were precisament which you said. Missing the <cc_config> and </cc_config> tags.

Much obliged,
Cris

In addition, he was in the wrong directory. How I can collaborate to participate in translation and/or revision of the pages BOINC?

Thank you,
Cris
