Hi all,

im new guy here, installed BOINC and created an SETI@HOME account. how to connect this two things together? how to config BOINC on my server to use my fresh created account?

my debian server (old notebook) is debian Wheezy (7.8) , 1,7GHz CPU, 1GB RAM.

Could someone help me with setting up my server to connect to SETI using my credentials?

i didnt find anything how to setup some config or how to add some computer to my account and so.

Thanks for help.

Try using your account number found on your account page. I see it as 10106559 when I mouse over your screen name on the left. Then use the password you entered when you created the account you're posting with.

An account manager is an external page through which you can add multiple projects in one go. http://boincstats.com/en/bam/ and http://www.gridrepublic.org/ are account managers.

If you cannot use the add project wizard (BOINC Manager->Tools->Add project or account manager->Add project), then you can use the command line, but in this case you then need the following command: boinc --attach_project http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/ <your account key> (which can be found under View account keys in your account).

If you want to use the BOINCCMD tool, use boinccmd --project_attach http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/ <account key>
Make sure that the BOINC binary is running before using the BOINCCMD tool. Or else you will get an error message.
