...or the wrong drivers are installed. Make sure you are using the Nvidia or Gforce drivers (which have Cuda) NOT the Microsoft ones (which do not have Cuda) Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

The RED have to be on these: 2015/3/14 18:35:25 | | cc_config.xml not found - using defaults Which means You intentionally (by checking Option manually) installed BOINC as a service. (this was already noted by arkayn) Now Uninstall BOINC - this will NOT lose tasks or Settings/Preferences - just Uninstall, do not delete anything manually. Install BOINC again but now Uncheck "Service Install" (as BOINC installer remembers your last choice you will need to Uncheck this manually)   - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :)  |

Install BOINC again but now Uncheck "Service Install" And to do so... In the third screen of the installer, click Advanced: Then uncheck the mark on "Service Install": And continue installation. It's not possible to run BOINC as a service and use the GPU, because Windows services run in their own session, and therefore cannot reach drivers installed by the user. So then BOINC cannot detect what kind of GPU you use. For any of this to change, you'll have to tell Microsoft to change this. |
