Will the new Windows WDDM drivers have make any change to the nVIDIA and ATI/AMD Drivers that I have installed?

Are you referring to WDDM 2.0 which is scheduled to ship with WIN 10?

WDDM 1.3 is for Windows 8.1 only. Windows 7's kernel cannot use any features newer than WDDM 1.1, so any updates are likely in the driver to be compatible with WDDM 1.3, making the drivers officially compatible with Windows 8.1.

I have not seen any Windows 7 updates from Microsoft updating WDDM to 1.3.

Use nVidia ones please Jim, not Windows update ones.

Thanks Jason, I've been running 344.11 for quite a while and they have been running great.

To save that happening again, whenever the Windows driver pops up in updates, right click it & click on "Hide update", Windows won't bother you again with that update.

I only use NVidia's site.
