For the third time in about a week I encountered upload problems with a task. The transfer bar goes to 100% and that's it. One minute later the log shows a transient HTTP error. Other Set tasks upload without any issues. I checked a few additional flags and this is what the log file then shows: 30-1-2015 18:15:34 | | log flags: file_xfer, sched_ops, task, file_xfer_debug, http_xfer_debug 30-1-2015 18:24:15 | SETI@home | [fxd] starting upload, upload_offset -1 30-1-2015 18:24:15 | SETI@home | Started upload of 09jl12ad.2474.34689.438086664198.12.136_0_0 30-1-2015 18:24:15 | SETI@home | [file_xfer] URL: http://setiboincdata.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/file_upload_handler 30-1-2015 18:24:16 | | [http_xfer] [ID#270] HTTP: wrote 93 bytes 30-1-2015 18:24:16 | SETI@home | [file_xfer] http op done; retval 0 (Success) 30-1-2015 18:24:16 | SETI@home | [file_xfer] parsing upload response: <data_server_reply> <status>0</status> <file_size>0</file_size></data_server_reply> 30-1-2015 18:24:16 | SETI@home | [file_xfer] parsing status: 0 30-1-2015 18:24:16 | SETI@home | [fxd] starting upload, upload_offset 0 30-1-2015 18:25:18 | | [http_xfer] [ID#270] HTTP: wrote 651 bytes 30-1-2015 18:25:19 | SETI@home | [file_xfer] http op done; retval -184 (transient HTTP error) 30-1-2015 18:25:19 | SETI@home | [file_xfer] file transfer status -184 (transient HTTP error) 30-1-2015 18:25:19 | SETI@home | Temporarily failed upload of 09jl12ad.2474.34689.438086664198.12.136_0_0: transient HTTP error 30-1-2015 18:25:19 | SETI@home | Backing off 05:32:21 on upload of 09jl12ad.2474.34689.438086664198.12.136_0_0 I added the line that shows the flags I checked. Any ideas what happens here? It's not a big issue as it only involves a few tasks but I have never seens this behavior before. Seti@Netherlands website |
