Hello everyone i am new here. While doing some Work unit's I noticed a few do not display any graphic effects. however the box that shows the Doppler drift says "choosing optimal functions" but nothing shows. This does not happen will all Work unit's though, only a few. I can select other units which show the graphics fine. Is this due to insignificant signal strengths in a current Work unit.? or some other reason? thanks. |

The missing graphics at the bottom of the display usually happens due to a bug with Intel's integrated GPU drivers. |

hi ozzfan, But this does not happen with all the work units, only certain ones seem to be like that. I can do another work unit and the graphics would work fine. |

This problem is not connected with graphics at all. It is a known problem with unknown cause - during "Optimal function choice" sometimes the stock CPU app hangs - usually happens on AMD CPUs Read: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=75617&postid=1571978#1571978 http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=75617&postid=1576847#1576847 http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=75617&postid=1577361#1577361 (All the 3 links are in the same thread) 'Fix': [Suspend] the task, [Resume] it - on next restart it may continue normally   - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :)  |
