Hmmm, not good reading .... Whats the basic problem?

No problem for US. Some of us just don't feel the need to live up to other's expectations.

Make over in the Man Cave this weekend in preparation for the Big Game on Sunday.

I can tell you the one thing I won't be doing during the game: watching it.

If the Bears were playing, I might pop in a couple of times, just to see the score so I'd know if Chicago was about to blow up.

My team isn't playing either, don't really care who wins.

But any excuse to have friends and family gather is a good one.

Expecting a full house as rain has cancelled all outside partying activity.

Phone calls all morning from people asking what they can bring.

Bring it all, I'm telling them.

If it isn't a good game, at least it will be good company. ;)

Ah, but I don't have a team. Even if the local one was in it, I wouldn't care. And the only friend whose house I would go to is out of town and also doesn't care.

Besides, 8 inches of snow so far is a good reason to stay home.

Odd time of day, but I have to put myself down now, or I won't make wakeup call come tomorrow.
Count these as the few hours I am not available.

I shall pray for you in my dreams.

My Man Cave when I 1st got it.

Inside after a little work years back.

And yes, it does have its own heating. ;-)

The front now after adding a glass sliding door and 6" wider roller door (to try and stop the missus hitting the driver side mirror when she backed out, didn't work though). I guess that you can see where dog lives.

It also carries a little bit of hardware on its roof.

Cheers.

All I meant was that I don't have a favorite football team. Thanks for the thought, though.

I was so impressed by that shed on 1st sight James that I'd bought the place before I even looked in the house. Kay felt that way about the house, right in the middle of the village, a bedroom for each kid (that made the move with us), 2 lounge rooms, the big wood fire heater and the dishwasher just topped it all off for her before she even seen the rest of it.

You should've seen some of the timber and metal work projects that have come out of that shed over the last 13yrs. ;-)

I keep thinking at times, "I've got enough room there for another 2 bays to be easily added to the front.",......

or, "I've got enough room there to easily add a 4 bay carport out front.",.....

Decisions, decisions,... lol

Does that potbelly stove put out enough heat?

My 50th was held in that shed in the middle of winter Gordon (just after I'd finished fully lining it out), about 30 of us, on a day that maxed out at 7C, with a SW wind blowing that dropped that temp do to -1C and constant sleet, but between that home made potbelly stove (it's actually made from 2 old 20" steel truck wheels, an old plough disc and some old steam pipe welded together) and the ceiling fan (the BBQ probably added a bit as well) we had to have the northern windows and eastern glass door open or it was getting to warm in there (it wasn't to bad under the 20'x14' tarp awning out front either, but you did need to put a jacket on).

Then add the brewroom, bathroom and hobby/work room in the back,......., what more could a man (and some women) want?

Cheers.

That's a cool use of the steel wheels, but how did the air slots on the front of it get done? (I don't know much about welding/steel work)

Those were cut in with an Oxy Acetylene torch Gordon, but they could've been done with a drill and angle grinder. ;-)

So hot that the lower half will glow red, but you can also cook a large boiler of soup on it, it all depends on how you want to stoke it. ;-)

Cheers.
