Now now, lots of information to go on.
But in any case, when you run work on the GPU, it does not come with graphics. Only CPU tasks have graphics. GPU tasks do not. So if you have e.g. one CPU task running and 4 GPU tasks and you run the Seti screen saver, it'll only show the Seti graphics when the CPU task is showing, not when the GPU tasks are showing.

Are you saying that when my system goes idle my cpu may not be up to par? I try ensure that there is minimal back ground activity running- current CPU i'm using is a amd fx6350, thank you for the distinction i did not know how this works- anyways how i do make the graphic portion run alittle more stable??,does it matter the amount of monitors i'm using??

That's not really what Ageless was saying at all. He was offering general advise because you didn't describe your definition of 'unstable', and he was letting you know that if you are crunching data on your graphics card, you will not get any graphics for that unit. Since the screen saver cycles through all running tasks, some will be on your CPU, some will be on your GPU (graphics card). For those on your GPU, as I mentioned, you will not get a display, which could appear as though it is unstable.

So what we need from you to help you better is for your to describe what it is that you are seeing. Are you getting display driver crashes? Stuttering? Missing graphics? Please define 'unstable' a bit more specifically.

I think I'm familiar with what you describe, and I can only offer a "hammer" style fix as that is all I could do to fix the problem when I experienced it on my HTPC.

What I did was to uninstall BOINC completely, delete the C:\Program Files\BOINC folder and the C:\ProgramData\BOINC folder (this folder is hidden by default). Then re-install BOINC from scratch. The stuttering went away for me after that.

Hope that helps.

For giggles I started pulling video cards out and swapping them around as it turns I had one bad video now everything seems to be running just fine-kinda bum out about being down a video card--again thank so much for helping me sort out my problems-
