I read that you can connect the realplayer with boinc manager to hear the sound that I go to prepare, you know the process to do it? |

This is the first I've ever heard of what you're talking about. Where did you hear it? Was it a reliable source? |

http://setiitalia.altervista.org/bsihasCF.html text translated into Italian (my language) http://seticlassic.ssl.berkeley.edu/about_seti/about_seti_at_home_1.html original text page 4 anyway the few sounds that I found and heard of pulsar or quasar found them relaxing, and it would be very nice that you could do following this sitema listening portions of audio that is going to draw... Give me crazy but if I could I would like Jodie Foster in Contact hear sounds or background noises |

http://setiitalia.altervista.org/bsihasCF.html text translated into Italian (my language) That was a movie... Not at all the kind of signal we are processing. The work unit we analyze contain one a very, very short period of the recordings. It is manipulated in many different ways. The sound you would hear would be a hiss and a few pop. It would sounds very much like a radio set between stations. |

http://seticlassic.ssl.berkeley.edu/about_seti/about_seti_at_home_1.html original text page 4 No, you misunderstand the text. It isn't saying you can connect RealPlayer to BOINC or SETI, but rather on that 4th page, if you click on the images, you can download a file in RealPlayer format to illustrate what it would sound like. anyway the few sounds that I found and heard of pulsar or quasar found them relaxing, and it would be very nice that you could do following this sitema listening portions of audio that is going to draw... I'm not sure what you believe you heard of pulsars and quasars, but space "noise" is largely static. It would be much the same as tuning an analog radio between stations. I don't think you'd find it very relaxing at all. |

Yeah, those were made in a studio, probably with specific sounds enhanced while other noise was removed entirely. The sound in those Youtube videos are not the actual sounds of space. |
