Looks strange indeed. I have downloaded this task and will check it. With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |

Looks strange indeed. Check the <analysis_cfg> block, Mike, and compare it with the one I posted in WUs with very unusual Autocorr parameters at Beta. |

I can confirm we now have the same problem as at beta. Got 2 tasks myself. Analysis.cfg is similar to what Richard posted at beta. With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |

I think all the wu’s starting with 19ap11ad. end with invalid state. Check my invalids and you will see just that. Tim |

It's an even tighter pattern than that. All posted so far (but I've only just seen Tim's post, unchecked as yet) have come from a single splitter/channel: 19ap11ad.19368.xxxxx.140733193388035.12.xxx 19ap11ad.19368.xxxxx.140733193388035.12.xxx 19ap11ad.19368.xxxxx.140733193388035.12.xxx 19ap11ad.19368.xxxxx.140733193388035.12.xxx 19ap11ad.19368.xxxxx.140733193388035.12.xxx 19ap11ad.19368.xxxxx.140733193388035.12.xxx |

Now then, if the Beta splitter problem is now also here in Main, the question is if there's any idea at all to continue crunching MB at all here, until they have fixed the problem. Not worth shutting down while it's still only one rogue channel - but we should perhaps be observant in case it spreads. |

Just check your folder for those tasks. I have none left in my cache. With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |

Ah, so that's what's going on. These are the invalid tasks I have relating to this issue so far. They match the pattern that Richard identified. 19ap11ad.19368.1294.140733193388035.12.241 19ap11ad.19368.4539.140733193388035.12.222 19ap11ad.19368.6175.140733193388035.12.164 19ap11ad.19368.6175.140733193388035.12.176 19ap11ad.19368.6175.140733193388035.12.192 19ap11ad.19368.6175.140733193388035.12.230 19ap11ad.19368.6993.140733193388035.12.10 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.5 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.11 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.15 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.16 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.27 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.28 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.40 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.42 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.46 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.48 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.54 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.59 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.60 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.64 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.65 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.66 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.70 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.71 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.72 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.76 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.77 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.78 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.82 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.84 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.88 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.94 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.100 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.102 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.106 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.112 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.118 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.123 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.124 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.130 19ap11ad.19368.7811.140733193388035.12.136 19ap11ad.19368.9447.140733193388035.12.142 Soli Deo Gloria |

Looks like I had two yesterday on my xw9400, 3897490306 and 3897490307. And this morning, my daily driver downloaded a couple more, a _3 and a _4. It won't get to them for quite a few hours, so I could go ahead and abort them, but that just passes the problem on to some other unsuspecting cruncher. It would be best if these WUs could be blocked from being resent to anyone else. Any chance of that happening? |

It happens quickly enough, like this: WU 1669850098 |

It happens quickly enough, like this: WU 1669850098 Perhaps, but I don't think the rapidity with which additional host processing resources can be wasted is as important as not wasting those resources at all, if it can be avoided. Certainly my host won't have to waste its time on those tasks if I abort them, but why should 4 or 5 more hosts have to waste their resources for no discernible purpose whatsoever. It's not like these are tasks which crap out after just a second or two of run time. |

I've just had a clutch of these on two of my crunchers :-( For some reason or other tasks are being miss-identified, and this is only on tasks that have been delivered in the last couple of days, I think it started after we had the delivery stall last week.... Could it be that at with AP they are splitting 1 tape/file with 3 processes, and something is getting mixed up? Never seen that on the MB side. Just a thought. |

Just check your folder for those tasks. I've got 14 in invalids and another four in inconclusive. This one has been out to eight hosts already. |

3 invalid so far and 17 inconclusive with the same dates that I'm sure will also get invalidated. |
