Seems that APv7 result creation rate has dropped down to nothing, it has been like that at least couple hours.

And people are gobbling up the work even faster than I thought. Only 224 AP channels left to split now.

Something is wrong. The channels disapeares without creating new work units

I still have 74 AP GPU WU's, and 38 AP CPU WU's in my cache. I will survive a bit longer.

Hmm, one partially split file returned to the splitters... 03mr13aa

I'm shocked, I just got my first newly split AP in almost 8 hours:
ap_21my12aa_B3_P0_00320_20150101_12988.wu_0

It won't last.
6 AP channels done, 4 in progress, 18 to go.
73 MB to go.

Re-runs then, and they seem to skip splitting for AP.

I have been advocating rerunning old data with the new apps ever since new data became scarce. These are new enough so the APs were split in the first run. Now if they would rerun pre AP data then we could get some more APs.

When I checked on the splitting I noticed that the AP splitters didn't seem to move on to the next tape in sequence. Also they were always working on 2014 tapes. So maybe they just didn't see the earlier tapes.

I only checked a few times so not a good sample but it might explain what happened.

AP's are done(probably at least til Monday), hopefully there will be a delivery of new drives to convert soon. I'm stocking up on MB's before they're done.

Has anyone noticed or commented on the difference in processing rate between AP6 and AP7 with nvidia cards?

My two machines show aprox. 60% reduction in GFLOPS, but the turnaround time is less?

AstroPulse v6 (anonymous platform, NVIDIA GPU)
Average processing rate 745.19 GFLOPS
Average turnaround time 3.87 days

versus

AstroPulse v7 (anonymous platform, NVIDIA GPU)
Average processing rate 304.15 GFLOPS
Average turnaround time 2.36 days

Not complaining, just a curiosity question.

turn around time is less because there are less AP's to grab ? My avg time is somewhat like 0.82 days for GPU AP's
