The Lectures for 3 days starting on BBC 4 at 20:00 GMT, each evening, will be given by Prof Danielle George, she is Professor in Radio Frequency/Microwave Communications and Associate Dean for Teaching and Learning at Manchester University. Has worked at Jodrell Bank, on the SKA and the Atacama Large Millimeter Array (ALMA}.

The lectures will introduce young people to the telephone, light bulb and electric motors and show how to make them do extraordinary things.
