Hello All, Have SETI on new computer......works just OK as the Time/Freq/Power box is always empty.....nothing showing yet computations are being made above it. Should the box show the relationship of time/freq/and power? I get nothing.. Many thanks Frank |

You use an Intel GPU (built into the Intel CPU). The drivers for the Intel GPU are in so far broken, that they refuse to show the bottom part of the graphics & screen saver. These graphics work without flaw on AMD and Nvidia GPUs, so it's really a problem with the Intel GPU or its drivers. |

Had the same problem on an HP Laptop WITH and WITOUT using GPU Lptop:HP running Intel Drivers No "fix" in the near future? I USED to get the "Aquarium" box filled many years ago. What happened to make it go away? Thanks! DaveZ |

Had the same problem on an HP Laptop WITH and WITOUT using GPU Every bit of a computer has a graphics processing unit, or GPU. It's the chip on the videocard that makes you see anything on the monitor or laptop screen. Lptop:HP running Intel Drivers No fix needed to come from Seti, if that's what you ask. The fix will have to come from Intel and that's something this project has no control over. You'll really have to email Intel or HP over that. I USED to get the "Aquarium" box filled many years ago. On what system, that Pentium 4? That probably had a dedicated 3D videocard that could show the OpenGL graphics. |

Sorry..... :0( Should've said that it doesn't appear even though I dowloaded the newest GPU drivers. But, I get your point. My OLD Tower Deskside system had a dedicated NVIDIA Adapter card. Gotcha! Thanks! Mele Kalikimaka! DaveZ |
