There hasn't been any update from the SAH team in a long time on the Green Bank Telescope SERENDIP receiver, which will bring a second source of SETI@Home work online...

... So to anyone who contributed in the unofficial matching fundraiser here on March 20th of this year, the fundraised cards were finally purchased today. Your contributions made this project possible and were very much appreciated.

The delay was mostly due to the team evaluating the new NVidia offerings, ie the Maxwell cards such as the 980. In the end, they did what I hoped they would and stuck with the original requirement of the GTX780ti, most likely because this is what is being already used in the Arecibo SERENDIP receiver so is both proven and will provide consistency in results.

Hope there will be further updates in the near future. If they don't go into the News section I will try to post them here, if this thread doesn't go stale.
