hi guys. i run boinc at full power at all times.
however, one or two particular games i play really struggle.
is there any way to throttle boinc by 50% when playng those games rather than pausing boinc altogether?

im never really idle so i dont think any idling based suggestions are likely to work.

I used to have the same problem while gaming until I learned that leaving at least one core free to feed your GPU (if you use GPUs for crunching) is strongly recommended. So I tend to limit BOINC to 75% of my cores (less in the summer heat) and I use the <exclusive_gpu_app>game_name.exe</exclusive_gpu_app> in my cc_config.xml file so that my GPU isn't used at all while gaming, but resumes use when I'm not in a game.
