It's spitting a little, and the wind is picking up. Forecast says, chances are good it won't be a white Christmas :(

Well it looked pretty good earlier today!

The temp this morning was 37F/2C, on XMAS night the temp is supposed to be 31F/-1C... Right now it's a warm 48F/9C outside, I had the oven on to warm the house up before bedtime last night and upon getting up, in between I had the electric heater on to slow down the loss of heat, Grace slept on My bed all last night with Me.

The storm watch for Chicago has been cancelled, but the news is telling us of the blizzard warning for parts of the big island of Hawaii.

Calm as anything, no rain either and a brisk-ish 5°C.

-9C/15.8F, 2 cm of snow. Still not what I would call a normal winter.

Yeah, I agree Sten-Arne, I need about -15 and at least 20cm of snow to call it normal winter.

Xmas Day here reached 25C and dumped another 14mm of rain in the afternoon.

This month's rain total now stands at 203mm (or 8" in the old scale).

For today (Boxing Day) the expected temp is 23C with another 10-20mm of rain.

Cheers.

No one knows, we had a dry season like no other this year, after 3 years this way I'd rather see the rain more often myself. get the dams all full would be nice for a starter. :) Freeze warnings for the next few nights down to the upper 20's F here -3 C?
Cheers everybody
